Sustainability
We would all like to live in a better world. But are we sure that our behaviors are consistent with this desire of ours?
Our customers certainly are because they have chosen Vetrarti, which has invested 450 thousand euros for a state-of-the-art plant to treat fluoride emissions into the atmosphere, a pollutant that all glassworks produce.
We all need to reverse the view that has companies with poor environmental and even social performance, operating in countries with regulatory and social scenarios that are not in line with accepted standards in the global north, favored from the standpoint of international competition.
What happens to the waste materials? Do they get reused or used for something else?
These are the questions we ask our board of directors when we make decisions for the future of Vetrarti.
The glass we discard from our production is ground with special equipment, divided by color and sold to smaller glassworks where it is annealed for the production of glasses and vases. This is intended to respond to the problem of depletion of natural resources and the accumulation of waste that so seriously threatens the environmental balance.
A brand new 100 kW system consisting of state-of-the-art solar panels which means panels using the latest and most efficient solar technology. These panels are based on technologies such as Perovskite solar cells or advanced thin-film solar technologies, which offer higher efficiency and lower costs than older Silicon-based panels.
